Our Oklahoma cutting boards are great additions to your home and make great gifts. These can be used as a cutting board, serving board, cheese tray or simply for a decoration. No matter how you decide to use it you’re going to love the look and feel.
The Oklahoma Cutting board is approximately 14 inches long, 7 inches tall and one inch thick. They are available in two different wood types to get just the right color for you. Maple is the lighter color and cherry is darker.
How are Oklahoma cutting boards made?
They are made to order from high quality, regionally sourced wood and are treated with a food safe finish to protect and enhance the appearance. We start with rough sawn lumber purchased from a regional sawmill. From there the boards are cut to the same thickness, the sides are cut perfectly flat, and then we permanently glue the edges of the boards together with waterproof, food safe glue.
After the boards have properly dried for a day the glued together panels are precisely cut into the Oklahoma shape. From there the sharp edges are removed and the cutting boards are made perfectly smooth on the top and bottom. To protect and enhance the wood a blend of natural, food safe oils are hand rubbed in. Once the oils are completely dried we finish the cutting boards off with a jute twine and a tag that has some basic care instructions. It’s the perfect finishing touch for a beautiful wood cutting board.
These do need to be hand washed only and need to be re-oiled periodically to keep the wood looking great. We use Walrus Oil – Cutting board oil on all of our boards because it’s a great product made with high quality, food safe ingredients. We highly recommend using this as opposed to mineral oil because of the all natural ingredients used in making Walrus Oil.

We look forward to making your next cutting board!
